Amoni Conner, a certified nursing assistant, Army Reservist and life-long resident of Rochester, NY, died on June 5, 2021 at the age of 24. Amoni was born on August 25, 1996 on Rochester, NY. She graduated from East High School. After graduation Amoni joined the Army Reservist as an Automated Logistical Specialist. While in the Amy Reserves Amoni received the National Defense Service Medal and an Army Service Ribbon. After the reserves Amoni received her certified nursing assistant certification. Amoni loved helping people. Amoni is survived by her parents, Chanel Conner and Alvin Brooks, her sisters, La'Shaun Smith, Atiya Brooks and Damaris Brooks, her grandparents, Winifred Brooks, Denice Scott and James Scott, her great-grandparents, Nathaniel and Ethel Wynn, her God parents, Shaquarwa (Fred) Parnell and Melody Nowlin and her special friend Jamorris Stewart. Amoni is also survived by hosts of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Besides spending time with her family and friends, Amoni had a passion of traveling, listening to music by Drake, dancing, fashion and sneakers, sneakers and more sneakers. Amoni had a bright and energetic personality. Amoni was very goofy. Amoni was always there with her generosity to help anyone in need.
