Obituary of Lyris Lapaul Gordon

Lyris "Paul" LaPaul Gordon age 50 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was born September 15, 1970 in Rochester to Irvin Bennett Jr. and Betty Willis. Paul grew up in Rochester and married Carmen Cotto on September 15, 2012. He worked for many years as shift leader at the University of Rochester and also at his most recent employer, Mersen. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys play football. He enjoyed cooking and having Bar-B-Ques, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Paul is survived by his wife of 9 years Carmen; son, Shaemar; Step Children, Angela, Joshua, Jasmine, and Ashley; Mother, Betty Willis; Brother, Gerald (Daisy); Sisters, Tarwanda (Michael), Josephine, and Catherine; special Aunt Mary Jones; several step grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Irvin Bennett Jr.
