It was a beautiful day, November 6, 1997 that Alannah Cheyenne Burke was born to Priscilla Watson-Cady & Elijah Shar'Ron Burke in Rochester, New York. She was the oldest child of 3. Alannah received attended St. Paul Holiness Church with her family at an early age where her grand-parents, the late Mr. & Mrs. Orange & Catherine Watson were patriot's there. Alannah received her education through the Brighton Central School District and graduated with high honors with a regents High School Diploma. She loved sports, competing in swimming, volleyball, and track & field. Alannah also was a natural at playing the trombone, spoke fluent Spanish and could write the most beautiful poetry. She was a member of the Urban League Black Scholar Honor Program. She also attended the Maryland Snyder School of Dance, she loved dancing! Her grand-father named her the "Dancing Machine". After high school, she attended MCC in Rochester. Alannah was currently attending Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage studying to become a Massage Therapist and had plans to go on to become a Chiropractor. She was currently working as a medical health coordinator at Randstad National Delivery. Alannah was only interested in jobs that would help others. Alannah'a passions were cooking, shopping, singing, listening to music, dancing and most of all her BEAUTY! She really enjoyed her make-up & loved to dress up. She got that from her Mom! Alannah was a gentle, loving, affectionate, energetic person who had love for everyone unconditional no matter who they were. She loved her family, especially her Aunts! She had a special bond with each one of them in her own way. She had an especially unique bond with her Aunt Cathy. She also had a great passion for her siblings. Many nights providing "sister talks" or hours of playing video games or guitar hero with her brother Amar. They all were very close to her heart along with the family dog "Bronx". Alannah was preceded in death by her Grand-parents the late Mr. & Mrs. Catherine & Orange Watson; and by her Uncle Ivory Lee Watson. She leaves to cherish her Mother; Priscilla Watson-Cady & her 2 loving father's; Elijah Sha'Ron Burke & Joseph Cady, all of Rochester, NY.; 3 sister's Ariel Alligood, Elasia Burke & Zyonna Burke; 1 brother; Amar Alligood all of Rochester, NY. Her paternal grand-mother; Ms. Leola Burke., of Rochester, NY.; & her paternal grand-parents Mr. & Mrs. Stephen Cady of NY. 4 Aunt's; Brenda Watson-Rawls (Vincent); Cathy Watson (Keith); Myrtle Watson (Nelson) & Sharon Watson, all of Rochester, NY.; 1 great-uncle; James "Cee" Watson of Rochester, NY.; 2 special cousins; Shauntrece & Brandon Thornton of Rochester, NY; 2 special friends; Ariel Stolberg & Saily Dushpande all of Rochester, NY and a host of 1st cousins, cousins family and friends whom she truly loved.
