Obituary of Chester Miles

Chester LaWayne Miles (Wayne) was born to the late Chester and Mary Jane Miles on May 26, 1976 in Rochester, New York. Chester departed this life on March 22, 2021. Chester resided in Niagara Falls, New York where he faithfully attended Word of Life Ministries and served as an adjutant to Bishop Jesse J. Scott, Sr. Chester attended East High School in Rochester New York where he excelled in football and later coached Little League Football. He started working at the age of 16 and was previously employed by Gleason Corporation in Rochester, NY as a machinist. Chester studied at Atlanta Metropolitan State College and attended Niagara County Community College where he was on the Dean's List for several semesters. Chester took pride in helping others and serving the community. He was a member of Noah and the WNY Peacemakers. He was a Public Relations Officer for Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and a member of Men of Meritt Club, mentoring young black men. Chester enjoyed watching movies and spending time with his wife Dorothy, family and friends. His favorite color was red and his favorite song was "Won't He Do It" by Koryn Hawthorne. Chester leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Dorothy, his children: son Chester Jermaine "CJ" Miles, daughter Ciara Miles, daughter Chayla Miles, son Christopher Miles (predeceased), granddaughter Crissiana Germany, stepchildren: Johnathan, Robert, Trumaine, step granddaughter: Lilliana, four siblings: brother Bernard (Mona) Rodgers, brother Randy (Fanysha) Miles, Sister Grace (Courtney) Williams, brother Terry (Alberta) Miles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
