Obituary of Lamont Johnson

On September 17, 1967; the Lord blessed Deborah Bruce and Johnny Roy Johnson with a healthy and handsome baby boy, Lamont Allen Bruce. His teenage parents concerned with the best interests of their child granted permission for Lamont to begin residing with his paternal grandparents, the late Rev. Earl and Bessie Johnson. Lamont spent his formative years with his paternal grandparent. After the passing of his paternal grandfather, Lamont was legally adopted by his paternal grandmother, Bessie Johnson and his name was changed to Lamont Allen Johnson. He confessed Christ as a young adult and joined the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Douglas Smith. Lamont met and married the love of his life, Maria (Angel) Santiago on July 2, 2001. He worked for Sessler Environmental as a Asbestos Remover. Lamont was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rev. Earl and Bessie Johnson, his father, Johnny Roy Johnson, two children, baby Johnson and Quintonio Lamarcus Dixon, He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of nineteen years, Maria "Angel" Santiago Johnson, six sons; Marquis Dixon, Lamont A. Johnson, Jr., Monzellius "BJ" Sims, Tre'Jaun Tisdale, Jahquan Grimes and Mighail "Justin" Ramos and one daughter, Krystal Santiago; siblings Darrell Johnson, Darnell Johnson, Rashard Johnson, Ebony Johnson, Cullen Easton, Everett Bruce, Marva Johnson, Theresa Johnson and Samantha Johnson. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
