Obituary of Larnell Briggs

Larnell (Lenny) Briggs III, age 27, of Niagara Falls, New York, departed life on July 17, 2020 at Buffalo General Hospital surrounded by his family after a brief illness. He was born on December 19, 1992, in Niagara Falls, the son of Larnell Briggs Jr. and Antinette Wilson. He attended local schools and College Prep School in Durham, North Carolina. Lenny was employed by Freedom Care. He was also the Founder and CEO of Back Block Entertainment. Lenny leaves to cherish his memory, parents Larnell (Tamica) Briggs Jr. and Antinette Wilson; children Giavonna Briggs, Sklyar Briggs, and Larnell Briggs IV all of Niagara Falls; sisters Uniqua Briggs, TaMya Owens, Deveonna Cooper, Treasure Briggs, Madison Colvin, and America Briggs, all of Niagara Falls, La'Kaja Briggs of Maryland; brothers Thomas Owens, Dashaun King Briggs, Wyatt Lopacki, all of Niagara Falls, LaKai Briggs of Maryland, and Prince Larnell Briggs of Virginia; maternal grandfather Clary Wilson of Niagara Falls and grandmother Sherline (Reginald) Starks of Buffalo, NY; plus many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. Lenny was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Larnell Briggs Sr. and Catherine Dread. Visitation will be from 10AM – 12PM on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Covenant of Grace Fellowship International, 2551 Whirlpool Street, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 12PM. Burial services entrusted to Memories Funeral Home, Rochester, NY.
