Condolences to the Johnson family at this difficult time. I came to know Arika from working with her grandmother Pat. When Pat injured her arm I went to help her at her home by cleaning her home and helping her out with her grands. Although we haven’t spoke to one another I still have love for the family. I will keep this family in prayer.

I first met Arika in 7th grade, we went to the same middle school and rode the bus together. She was one of the first friends I made. One of my favorite memories was her birthday party, we went to a teen night at a club on Lake Ave. Her grandma piled us all in the van, and took us to the event. I’m pretty sure her grandma was in the club with us too chaperoning, which is the only reason my mom let me go. She knew Arikas grandma was going to look out for us. We had such a good time. We had two “Ericas” in our grade, we called Arika “Arika A”, and the other girl “Erica E” lol. Arika and I lost touch after that, but hearing about her passing hit me hard. She was a very good friend for the short time we went to school together. My condolences to her family, I pray you all find some comfort at this time. ❤️
