Michael Barkley was born in the city of Rochester at Strong Memorial Hospital. He graduated from East High School and attended Monroe Community College. He enjoyed music, traveling and sports. Michael is predeceased by his parents James and Laverne Barkley. Brother Willie J. Barkley (Lucky), Elliott J. Barkley, sisters Ruby L. Persons, Betty A. Barkley, Diane S. Barkley, and a fraternal twin sister Michelle Barkley-Diaz (Carlos). He leaves to mourn is wife Janine Barkley, whom he spent his last two years with doing many different activities and loving each other, three brothers; Leslie J. Barkley, James Barkley Jr., and Peter James Barkley, two sisters; Trances L. Barkley and Mary LaGroon (Sherman), sons; Jump Dillard, Princeton Williams, Brandon and Carl J. (CJ), nephews; James (Sparky), Victor, David, Willie, and Shawn Jacque, nieces; Shantae, Chuki (Lucy), Christine D, Celeste, Joy Tillie (Dwayne), Mary, and Laverne. A special brother Terry (Hook) Crittenden and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, family and friends
