Obituary of Arthur William

Mr. Arthur Williams was born to the late Benjamin and Elnora Williams on January 14th, 1934 in Birmingham Alabama. He graduated from Parker High School and relocated in late 1950's to Rochester N.Y Some years after Rochester became his new home, he then met a beautiful woman name Jaqueline Turner. They united in Marriage on June 23rd, 1984. The two of them loved children and later became Foster Parents to many, many children in need. As they saw the children come and go, it was 3 of them that captured their hearts and were later adopted by them. Arthur worked many jobs over the years including The Rochester Riverside Convention Center where he retired after 30 years of service at the age of 82. He received many awards of dedication and years of service including Outstanding Service and Strong Commitment to Excellence. Arthur departed this life on July 18th, 2018. He is predeceased by his wife Mrs. Jaqueline Williams, 6 sisters Lula Mae Armstrong, Bertha Clancy and Ethel Nixon of Bir. Alabama. Lois Gross, Estella Shepherd and Annie Williams of Rochester N.Y 1 brother Marvin Williams of Bir. Alabama He leaves to cherish his memory to his children sons, Felton Gholston of White Plains N.Y, Stanley Williams of Bir. Alabama, Dexter Williams of Roch. N.Y, daughters Shai Williams, Jaqueline Miles and Tanyela Dewberry of Roch. N.Y 6 step children James Cole Jr, Reginald Willis, Vernesia Scott, Saundra Yousaf, Cynthia Willis and predeceased by Valarie Williams all of Roch. N.Y 2 close friends Freddie and Keith, a special niece and nephew Angela Shepherd and Mark Shepherd. 29 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
