Obituary of Ciara Grimes

On December 20th, 1999 an angel was born. Ciara Michelle Grimes ( CiCi ) Born to Erica Perez and Willie Grimes (Ebony M. Grimes). She was the most adorable baby ever. She was very happy, very admirable and very angel-like. Captivating every scene with her cuteness and charm since birth. At the ages of three and four, Ciara attended Head Start on Hudson Avenue. She then went on to Frank Fowler Dow (#52) from the grades kindergarten to sixth grade. During the summer of these years, she attended Bronco Power Camp (Asthma Camp) affiliated with Rochester General Hospital. During her elementary years, Ciara was baptized at Faith Temple Apostolic Church. She was the center of the attention and always had that "Go all the way" ambition. Those who know her best knew she strongly believed in HER point of view. Ciara was very animated and always left a lasting impression. She loved hard and wore her heart on her sleeve. Everyone whom encountered her was drawn in by her grace. Ciara was "Daddy's Baby" as he would say it. When someone said "No", he said "Yes". She enjoyed hotel parties and doing hair and lashes. Her favorite foods were Crab Legs, Steaks, Collard Greens, Cornbread and Spanish Rice & Beans. A few of her favorite movies were ATL, Stomp the Yard, Drum line, and Illegal tender. Episode after episode; she watched Law & Order- Special Victims Unit. Ciara's senior year of high school, she went to Vanguard Collegiate High School where she anticipated graduation June of 2018. Ciara worked at Wendy's for a short period of time and still managed to help babysit younger family members. CiCi was excited and preparing for her second interview the day before falling into her final sleep. She leaves behind her Mother, Erica Perez, and Father, Willie Grimes (Ebony M. Grimes). Grandparents: Carmen Colon and Miguel Carrasquillo, Barbara McCullough (Pompeii McCullough) and Willie Grimes Sr. (Juanita Grimes). Aunts: Michelle Carrasquillo (Angelo Pirela), Moria (Moe) Vargas, Taliesa (Lisha) Grimes, Monique Grimes. Uncles: Jarred Wright, Terrance Grimes (Janell Coleman-Grimes), Richard Martinez, Carlos Martinez. Closest Cousins: Tamisha (Meme) Wright, Erica (Baby Erica) Jones, Keara (Keke) Crane.
