On Thursday March 29, 2018 God saw his servant race was finished, He knew he fought the good fight and said unto him, "come home my son and take your rest".
On May 21, 1946, the late Lee Allen and Alberta Flanders was blessed with their fourth child, a baby boy, Willie James Flanders in Bainbridge GA.
After graduating high school, he moved to Rochester, NY in 1964. On August 4, 1973, he married the love of his life, the woman that will forever carry him in her heart Pastor Angelina Flanders, and with this union came three children.
Those whom precedes him: his Parents Lee Allen and Alberta Flanders, of Bainbridge GA; one son Willie Jr., five siblings: Lee Allen Jr, Rickey Lee, Audamisha, Frank and Hasten Flanders; two sisters-in-law: Marion Dorsey, and Emily Porter; three brothers-in-law: Robert Sr, Willie Jr, and Cardell Canty.
Apostle Flanders strived to walk so close with God that he knew just what you needed when you went to him for anything, he always had an open door and open heart, he always would say, "don't run from me, run to me"
Those left to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife Pastor Angelina; two children: Tarnesha and Anthony Flanders; five Godchildren: Porsha Steele, Angelica Rivera, Melinda Smith, James, Reese, and CeCe Couser all of Rochester NY; six sisters: Sis Edna Flanders, Sis Lilla Logan both of Rochester, NY, Arretta (Jimmy) Collins, and Martha Ann Bush of Jacksonville, FL, Deborah (Bruce) James, and Alma (Mike) Goss both of Bainbridge GA; four brothers: Pastor Ervin (Viola) Flanders, Deacon Tim (Reca) Flanders, and Benjamin Flanders all of Bainbridge GA, and Anthony Flanders of Midwest, Ok; one sister-in-law: Sara Newport; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, Church families and friends.
