Voncear Yvonne McCoy-Perdue was born June 25th, 1969 in Rochester, New York to the late Thelma Delores Campbell and Alphonso Campbell aka Arthur Perdue. She was predeceased by her nephew Yosmain Ammons, grandmother Verdell Dudley, Uncle Lenord Bradford, Aunt Debra Dudley, Great Aunt Alma Newsome, Cousin Theresa Wright and God Father George Mills. Chaplin Voncear rededicated her life to God, at Bibleway Healing Assembly on October 15th, 2017 under Bishop Eulah M. Nelson. Voncear attended Miracle Valley under Apostle James and Lenora Hartsfield. She worked faithfully on the Usher Board, Outreach and Jail Ministry, and loved doing the Lords work. She loved God, attending church and bible study. Chaplin Voncear had a heart of gold, she loved to help when needed, ministered and encouraged those in need. Her smile brightened up a room, her laugh was contagious and she loved with her whole heart. Chaplin Voncear attended CATEVA Outreach Ministries, she graduated in 2015 and ordained a Chaplin an accomplishment she and her family was very proud of. In 2017 she recieved the Presidents Lifetime Achievement Award from President Obama and she also received the Special Mayoral Recognition Award for her volunteer services from Mayor Lovely Warren. Chaplin Voncear shared a special bond with her daughter Shavon who she called her "Babygirl and Self". Although Mother and Daughter they were best friends, they loved hanging together, laughing and building memories. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandkids J'veon (Pookabear), MarSean (Peanut) and Harmoni (Tornado). They brought so much joy to her life, she was excited to see them perform in the StepJam and cherished that moment to see her grandboys growing up. Her favorite pass time was cuddling up with her grandkids, popping popcorn and watching scary movies. Voncear had special nicknames for her loved: Pumpkin Pie (April), Baby Bo (Bo), Sparkle Diamond (Sparkle), NeNe (Unique) and Buddah (Keya). Her Favorite Scipture was Psalms 23:1 Chaplin Voncear departed this life January 11th, 2018 She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her Daughter Shavon Warren of (Roch, NY), Special Daughters and Sons Christina(Vincent)Alexander, Crystal(CJ)Rolle, Ladell Walker and Jamiere, Cousin/GodDaughter Unique Bradford, GodDaughter Nikiah Wormley and GodSon Kahmal Chandler. 4 Grandkids J'veon, MarSean, Harmoni and Camryn. Sisters: Sonia(Satch)Pitts of (Roch, NY), April Dudley of (Roch, NY), LaTasha Dudley of (Roch, NY), Brother Shaphan (Latoya) Leflore and a host of other siblings. And host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends and Loved Ones Spiritual Parents Apostle James and Lenora Hartsfield and Bishop Eulah M. and Elder I.V. Nelson.
