Obituary of James Gupton

James (Jamo) Gupton was born on October 19,1975 to the late Dorothy Gupton in Philadelphia, PA. He was raised by his aunty Marilyn and Uncle Thomas Adams (deceased). Predecensed by his grandmother Lilly Mae Gupton, and late Uncle Carter Gupton. James was raised as a child in Milledgeville, Ga where he completed primary school he then relocated to Rochester, NY to live with his aunt Lillian Epps(Peaches). After completion of secondary school, he attended Everest Institute of Technology. He work many year's in security. James had a strong love for safety and his community while in New York City he was a member of the Guardian Angels for three years. He had a fond passion for cooking, especially for family and friends. He volunteered in the soup kitchen at Faith Temple Apostolic Church serving for the many community events. He spent his last eight years working at S&T Tavern we're he continued his love for cooking. He leaves to cherish his two sons Allen Holder (New York) and Kyrei Gupton (North Carolina) His sister's Priscilla and Charlotte Gupton. His aunt's Lillian Epps, Marilyn (Alonzo) Pope, and Jackie (David)Epps. His special nephew Demetrish (Meechi)Gupton.He leaves a special friend Janetta. A host of special cousins, nieces, nephews ,and friends. He will be truly missed and loved by everyone. To his special friend Sunny who was like a father to James. Words cannot express how much he loved James and James loved him. The Epps family would like to thank Sunny and his family for all the love they have shown us. To all the S&T family for there love and support to us at this time.
