Obituary of Marion L. Nesmith

Marion Lena Nesmith was born in Rochester, Ny on August 30th,1970. Lena was born on a Sunday,under the sign of Virgo, and on that day "ain't no mountain high enough" by Diana Ross was blaring through the airwaves, and it was 77 degrees outside. On that day Lena was born to the parents Levie and Mary Nesmith For primary school Lena attended school #3 also known as Nathaniel Rochester before martriculating into secondary school at the well known East high school. Lena was well known and her personality and charm was embraced by students(friends) and teachers alike. She captured the moment by taking lots of photos and would often say "don't hate me because I'm beautiful", while at east high school, Lena was involved in many social activities.
Upon graduating from east high school on June 23rd, 1989 she immediately entered into the work force, where she began working utilizing her customer service working skills in various positions which eventually gave her the opportunity to take on a position caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting them with activities of daily living. Throughout the remainder of her working career she obtained a variety of positions helping others.
Before her ultimate passing Lena accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and savior.
Lena is predeceased by her parents Levie and Mary Nesmith and loving step mother Martha Riddle, grandmother Etha Collins and grandparents Charlie and Marion Burke and also a host of relatives and friends that have welcomed her at heavens door. Lena is survived by her life long friend and father of her 4 kids, Kevin Giles Sr
Sons, Ke'on Nesmith, Kody Nesmith, Kevin Nesmith-Giles Jr, daughter Kevanna Nesmith-Giles and God daughter Daajrion Manley Simmons, silblings brother Levie Nesmith Jr of Atlanta,GA and Anne Marie Nesmith of Rochester, NY
She is also survived by her grandchildren Kaysen Giles and Zendaya Nesmith, Nephews Jerod Nesmith, Jaron Nesmith, Anthony Wiggins, and David Gill and Great niece Ja'Myllah,as well as a host of very loved cousins and very special friends.
