A Celebration Of Life RONISHA PATRICE MERRIWEATHER Sleep on and take your rest. We loved you, but God loved you best II Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord Our beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece and friend Ronisha P. Merriweather 38, went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2023 at Upstate Hospital Community Campus after a sudden illness. Ronisha was born July 6, 1984, to Demetrius Gathings and Ronnie Merriweather Sr. Ronisha was a native from Syracuse, NY, and attended Syracuse city schools. Preceding her in death was her brother Quentin Brown Sr. Surviving to celebrate her life and cherish her memory: her loving children Gregory Martin Jr., S'Sence Harvey, and Jermaine Harvey Jr of Syracuse; parents, Demetrius Gathings and Ronnie Merriweather Sr.; Patricia Johnson, who played a significant part in her life. Four sisters, Cheriah Brown, Nicole A. Burnett (Tarey), D'Andrea Massard, and Sharonn Merriweather, are all of Syracuse. Five brothers, Ronnie Merriweather Jr (Mia), Rondell T. Ronisha loved creating memories with her children by playing board games they called "game night." Her hobbies were playing cards with friends and family and quoting her favorite movie scenes; she was someone you could rely on in time of need. She loved supporting her sister Dee in being her model for hairstyles. Ronisha had a kind, sensitive and caring heart. She is also known for her boisterous spirit and was loved by many.
